Last Page Finish for 2015, Winter Hat Owl, pages 13 and 17

This is a 2 page finish, even though page 17 was just a partial, IT STILL COUNTS!
This was 8160 stitches, started Dec 2 and finished Dec 27.   It would have been done a lot sooner, but Christmas, and then visiting with my sister, who I kitted up to do her first HaED, an owl.

This makes 20 HaED page finishes for 2015!  Frankly, I'm surprised I still have fingers left. I'm not crazy enough to try and beat that for 2016, but I do make the goal of finishing 2 projects next year, possibly 3.

Wish me luck.

Happy New Year to all of my stitching kindreds.  May your New Year be filled with free time galore, and ample opportunity to stitch.

  1. All that background stitching would blind me (or drive me nuts), either way what an amazing total for your year! Wow!

    1. The background stitching was the easy part. Just put in a good documentary, stitch one colour and then the other. It's that finicky little hat that gave me all the trouble!
I can't quite believe I made 20 pages. It's a nice round number. I will try to match it at the end of 2016.

    1. I'm hoping to complete Adrift in 2016, and the Owl should be finished by spring. But I have the next 3 patterns picked out. I'm soooo looking forward to a new HaED start!

  8. Hmmm...I never thought to think of it as page finishes, I need to go back and count mine! Might make me feel better about failing to accomplish my goals. Thanks!

    1. Yes, count your pages! Do so at once! If you are on facebook, there is a HaED where we keep track of our pages finishes. Let me know if you'd like the link and I will post it.

And remember, in stitching there are no fails. Every stitch is an accomplishment on the journey to completion!

      Happy New Year, Keebles!
