Adrift, Page 25 is Complete

Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink!   This page was kinda...ok I'll say it, dull.   But it was a really fast stitch, which is always a good thing, amirite?   Page started on Feb 5 and finished Feb 18.  I wish they all could that fast.  Of course, it helps that it's February, the weather outside is drizzly and work isn't too busy.

I've also hit the 70% mark of the project!   The end is kinda, sorta in sight!

The next page of Adrift is the start of her big, glorious fin.  I think it's going to be breathtaking.

I'm back on the Winter Hat Owl.  I'm stitching the last 4 pages.  It's so close I think I may just work on him until he's complete.  It won't be a fast stitch, though.  I'm working on the bottom of the hat, with its myriad of colours and confetti, and March is looking to be an absolute hellish month for me, workwise, so there likely won't be any updates until mid April.  But trust me, it will be a beaut!

So until then, happy stitching everyone!

  1. She is so beautiful. Those background pages can be a little boring.

    1. Thanks, Jan! I think it's the gloomy colours that make this arduous. I'm not finding this issue on the background colour of the owl at all. So that's what I've chalked this up as, a gloomy colour.

  2. She looks amazing! You need those boring pages to have a break from all the confetti.

    1. A truer point was never made, Justine. Sometimes when I'm stuck in confetti hell, I long for a page of few colours.

  3. She's fabulous! Those boring pages just get you revved up for the next section of confetti-ness;)

    1. I'll hurry as fast as I can. I'm about 1/4 of the way through the page I'm on with the owl, and then the last page should be a super fast stitch. So I'll be back on Adrift pretty quickly, I think.
I'll, of course, post updates here.

    1. Katie, the end is well and truly in sight! The kicker now is that all I want to do is work on her, but with work, I work 12 hour shifts, so that leaves absolutely zero time for stitching. But in 3 days I'm going to have 5 days off in a row, and I plan on doing little more than stitching.

  5. Well done on another page finish. Like you say, the next one should be fun. Good luck with your busy work schedule. I hope it doesn't turn out to be as bad as you think. :)

    1. Thanks Rach. I just finished a run and I had one whole day off, and now, starting tomorrow, I start another block of days. But I'll sneak a few stitches in where I can.
