First Page Finish of 2016

Adrift, pages 23 and 24 (of 42)  8550 stitches in total and a row finish!

Not the best photo, I'll admit.  I laid her out on the couch and took her in a hurry.  But she's looking pretty, none-the-less.  I can't believe how much I still have to do on her.  The next row is the beginning of the bottom of her tail.  It's the part I fell in love with most, because she reminded me of a betta fish.  I'm looking forward to finally getting to that part.

Not much to really add at this time, as I've just come home from a 12 hour graveyard, but I wanted to get this up and posted before bed.

Enjoy!

    1. A page finish is an achievement, and then when you get to the end of a row, it's like a huge sigh of relief!

  4. Amazing! She looks almost finished but I'm sure there's a lot of work yet to do. The colours in her tail are so beautiful.

    1. I'm surprised how vibrant the colors in her tail really are, because they didn't look so bright in the box. But against the darker colors of the water, they really pop!

    1. I couldn't agree more. I don't know what it is about mermaids and dragons, but I just can't stop falling in love with them.

  7. Wow! It's like looking at a photograph. Have you thought about where you're going to hang her when she's finished?

    1. That is a very good question, because she is big. Really big. I'm not sure, maybe in my living room? I think I'm going to have to give this some serious thought.

    1. Thanks, Karen! I love how relaxed she seems. Is it just a breather from swimming hard? Is it despair? Is she merely enjoying the storm?
Whatever her motive, it really draws me in.
