The Evolution of the Love Tree

This didn't take long at all.  I'm actually kind of shocked at how fast I was able to whip this up.

I thought I'd try something different and take a photo at the end of each stitching sitting, so I could see just how much (or little) progress I was making.   It turns out I could see a lot of progress each and every time.

I hope you enjoy watching my little tree grow....

First sitting.

Second sitting.

Third sitting

Fourth sitting.

Fifth sitting.

The finished result.

This is the centre piece of my afghan.  Now, only four more panels to do.

The end is in sight.

Go me!

    1. Thanks, Sally-Ann, it's definitely a cute project. It's for my best friend who gave birth to her son back in Dec. I've only got 4 panels left and I hope I can finish before she comes for a visit in June. I've got my work cut out for me!

    1. Thanks Emma! I was lucky to have a few long nights to myself where I was able to really get a lot done.

I'm working on the mouse now. Hopefully I'll have it done in a week or so.

    1. The mouse is taking longer. I've just got the flowers, and butterfly and backstitching to do, but sometimes they take the longest.

Oh, and I was totally going to take progress photo's, but like a ding-a-ling, I forgot.

    1. You're so right! I was surprised at how much I actually achieved in a sitting.

I meant to do the same with my little mouse that I'm working on now, but I forgot.

I will try to do it with the Fox, which is up next.
